Cara Forster, Director for Latin America and the Caribbean, presented in the panel on client protection and the market systems approach in the Dominican Republic, which included representatives from SBS, Fundación Reservas del País y Confisa Banco.

The Superintendent of Banking for the Dominican Republic presented a plenary session on financial inclusion as a pillar of sustainable development and in the Q&A part, responded to a question from Oricel Caminero about the mapping that Cerise+SPTF commissioned in 2025 to measure the level of alignment of the national regulation with the Client Protection Standards. The Superintendent, Alejandro Fernandez Whipple, committed to the goal of achieving 100% alignment with the Client Protection Standards.
